Stratagem is an application designed to fill a void in digital time management. Students, professionals, even home makers may have several calendars in use plus task and reminder applications. This makes for an inefficient use of time having to check or create entries in multiple applications.
Competitor research showed no application available to gather, in one app, information from various calendar, reminder and task applications.
One challenge was to create an informative and simple screen for users to see their day at a glance while still able to quickly access details. The Dial of Destiny was created and is the anchor of the application.
Throughout this project the lesson reinforced was the overarching theme of UX/UI Design, “Fight for the users”. One critical lesson learned was the frequency of user surveys and testing can be increased. The information gained can become the guard rails of the project, keeping it on target.
