This project encompasses 128 logos I recreated and lightly weathered. The was a passion project as I am an avid model railroader and rail fan. 8 pieces are displayed below.
A study in Japanese Kamon
Another passion project was the recreation and weathering of prominent Japanese Kamon or family crests. A fascination with the cultural history of Japan steered me to this project.
ASH & LJ Railroad Logo
Being an avid model railroader I felt it appropriate to name and design a logo for my layout. The ASH & LJ is named for my 3 children (ASH), my wife and my father who ignited my passion for railroads and model railroading and both share the same nickname (LJ). The use of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse signifies the support of my wife and that she has always been a guiding light in my life.
